We participated in the Atlassian Summit and Atlas Camp 2018. Learn about the events, their value, and our experiences.

This year SolDevelo was celebrating 9th birthday. Since we are the company that vividly promotes a healthy and active lifestyle it is no wonder that also our integrational party had to have something in common with sportsmanship and group competition.

It needs no explanation that working on solutions that have a real social impact is in itself rewarding. Still, when the world reminds you that what you do is of benefit to society, one can feel even better about the everyday efforts in delivering the most qualified product possible.

SolDevelo is going to be an active participant in this year’s Atlassian Summit fairs! This time the event takes place in stunning Barcelona, thus we have at least couple of decent reasons to hold our breath for it.

Since training programmes designed for growing our skills have already become one of SolDevelo core values, the next step should be to make every-day-learning a habit and therefore a really casual, team-building experience.

The story which began just then became the subject of our #8 Tech Talk devoted to the great success of Labor Projects – a result of a fruitful cooperation between the non-profit enterprise Good World Solutions and our SolDevelo team.

For some people there is nothing so very exciting about constant learning of how to use new technological tools. How much more software could you really need to perform jour job quite effectively, right? At SolDevelo though, the sky seems to be the only limit when it comes to improving one’s technological literacy.

Team Leading is not just project management. It is also a number of interpersonal skills needed to supervise the team.
The management training has expanded our Team Leaders’ knowledge, and now it’s time to implement it.

In the second half of March I had the opportunity to go to Belgrade in Serbia. I was visiting there the European department of one of our clients. The purpose of this trip was to introduce our company and our software development process to the team that was using the product which we helped to create.

Another of our intercontinental delegations took us, once more, to the nation located on the Gulf of Guinea, in the west of Africa.
