openIMIS solving problems across the world
Tackling the undeclared work issue in Moldova
Moldova faces challenges with weak labor standards and widespread undeclared work in agriculture, which harm the economy and deny workers proper social protection. To address these issues, SolDevelo implemented customized version of openIMIS, enabling employers to digitally manage workers and labor inspectors to monitor the situation more effectively.
Improving access to insurance in Bangladesh
Bangladesh faces challenges with factory safety, highlighted by the 2013 Rana Plaza collapse, and caused by the lack of sufficient social protection. To enhance Bangladeshi accident insurance coverage, the country implemented openIMIS, with SolDevelo providing technical training, fostering local expertise in the platform.
Supporting healthcare goals in Tanzania
The Tanzanian government needed a tool to support its national voluntary health insurance program. OpenIMIS was implemented by Swiss TPH, with SolDevelo providing development, 3rd level user support, software maintenance, and release management.
