The Mission: AI Red Teaming
As AI models are increasingly deployed in critical sectors like education, healthcare, and the justice system, the stakes have never been higher. Red Teaming is a vital process of stress testing these models to identify biases, discriminatory outputs (based on gender, race, or background), and potential hallucinations before they reach the public.
Why it matters: By identifying these flaws early, Humane Intelligence ensures that AI tools integrated into our society are not just powerful, but responsible and fair.
Moving the AI Red Teaming App to Open Source
Humane Intelligence already has a successful Red Teaming app used across multiple domains and subject matters. To allow the global community to benefit from and contribute to the safe and responsible use of AI, the app is now moving to be fully open source.
Our Role
Our team has been entrusted with the critical task of rebuilding the app’s backend infrastructure. We are moving the project to a Python-based stack – the native language of AI – to ensure better integration with modern machine learning frameworks and to foster a developer-friendly environment for the open-source community.
Beyond the technical rewrite, we are acting as strategic partners in this transition. We are supporting Humane Intelligence in:
- Architecting a scalable, robust Python backend.
- Preparing the codebase for public open-source contribution.
- Ensuring the platform can handle complex testing scenarios for various organizations.
