Information on user tracking

In order to evaluate the usage of our products and help us improve our services, performance, and user experiences, we use user activity tracking tools that enable us to optimize our applications to meet users’ needs.

Google Analytics in Multiple Checklists for Jira application
Google Analytics is a web analytics service offered by Google that tracks and reports website traffic. The tool uses cookies that collect preferences during users’ visits to our application. This data is used to determine the number of visitors and how long they stayed for in the application; identify how users  move around the application and, in particular, which functionality they use; to determine from which part of the world our application is being visited (country level); and to check what kind of device users are using. The information that is generated in this process (including IP addresses) is anonymized, making impossible to track specific users. Google Analytics stores this information in aggregated and anonymized form so that it is not associated with individual end users and does not include personal information. For more information on the privacy practices of Google, please visit the Google Privacy & Terms web page here: As a user, you can always disable tracking to stop data collection in the application setting.

Hotjar in Worklogs – Time Tracking and Reports
Hotjar is a technology service that helps us better understand our users’ experience (e.g., how much time they spend on which pages, which links they choose to click, what users do and don’t like, etc.) Hotjar uses cookies and other technologies to collect data on our users’ behavior and their devices. This includes a device’s IP address (processed during your session and stored in a de-identified form), device screen size, device type (unique device identifiers), browser information, geographic location (country only), and the preferred language used to display our website. Hotjar stores this information on our behalf in a pseudonymized user profile. Hotjar is contractually forbidden to sell any of the data collected on our behalf. For further details, please see the about Hotjar’ section of Hotjar’s support site. Finally, each user can individually disable Hotjar, if they wish not to be tracked for those analytical purposes.
